Bear World

This weekend we had the urge to travel. Saturday morning we were looking into the possibilities and decided to rent a truck, pack up our camping gear, and go to Bear World. It was so awesome! For those that haven't been, it's kind of like an African Safari where the animals are loose and you're in the car. The first thing we saw was a mountain goat. Kaylee absolutely loved it and started crying when we drove on by and didn't get out to pet it.

We saw some wolves and deer, then, it was incredible. We traversed beyond the gate where the bears were located. We saw grizzly and black bears literally right outside of our window. Kaylee LOVED it and wanted to get out and pet the nice bears. John and I used our parental wisdom and decided it would be best to just stay in the car.




After the drive, we went to the petting zoo. Kaylee got to pet some goats, deer, and the wretched hog. That thing scared her because it didn't move much, snorted, and definitely was NOT soft. She cried and found more contentment in watching the chickens and baby bears. There were also some rides that we took Kaylee on. John took her on these cars that bounced up and down in a circle. Originally, she was smiling and enjoying herself (or so we thought), but when we looked at the video later we couldn't do anything but laugh. Check out her face when the video stops.
